Running 24+39 minutes

July 10th, 2007

After doing 24 minutes of running with Tine in her pace, I went out for my 7960 meters which is less than last week as it’s my recovery week.
With the Roskilde Festival ended I didn’t have any problems running in my own speed all the time, as there were no one to zigzag around, and it sure did show up on the speed…. 4:54 minutes/Km !

Running 22+45 minutes

July 8th, 2007

Today Tine and I did 22 minutes together and then I did my 8720 meters for the last time this week.

Again I had to run zigzag around people going to and from the Roskilde Festival but it was not as bad as Tuesday.

For some reason, and here I can’t blame it all on zigzag running, my speed was rather poor with an average of 5:14 minutes/Km which is a disappointment.

Next week is a recovery week and for the first time this year I’m looking forward to run a little less as my legs do feel a little tired. Maybe that will help me getting some of the speed back.

Running 11+23 minutes

July 6th, 2007

Because of the Roskilde Festival we decided to go to the park and run this time as this is the day I test for speed and that’s impossible when running zigzag around people.

First Tine and I did 1 round in 11 minutes and 35 seconds. Tine wanted to stop after that round and that’s fine as the route is much harder than the one we usual run. If you’re not used to run quite a lot up and down hill it’s very hard to run in the park !

Then I did 3 rounds (5Km) in 23 minutes (and 1 second) with a max pulse of 175 and I must admit it was hard work. I havn’t run in the park for about a year and it’s much harder than I can remember !
In spite of my speed was a bit slower than last week it was quite good, especially when calculating the harder route : 4:36 minutes/Km !

:-)

Maybe I will start to run here in the park once a week as I think it will give me a better exercise…

Running 28+44 minutes

July 3rd, 2007

Tine and I went out for 28 minutes together. I guess she was a bit disappointed not going 30 minutes as planned but I think it’s fine. 28 minutes are only 2 minutes short and it’s better to stop before your body says stop for you.

The I went out for 8720 meters, the longest this year. It was quite a task… not so much the distance but this is the time for the Roskilde Featival and I had to run zigzag between a lot of people and their pushcarts with beers. Average speed was 5:09 minutes/Km - not that good….

Running 26+40 minutes

July 1st, 2007

First Tine and I did 26 minutes together. We should have done 30 minutes but either of us wasn’t feeling too good.

The I did my 7960 meters with a max pulse of 150. In spite of not feeling too god my speed wasn’t as bad as expected : 5:04 minute/Km.
